We had a visit today from author and illustrator Oisin mc Gann.
He talked to us about how he started to write stories. He brought in a notebook where he writes down any ideas that he gets.
He told us about how much he loves to draw pictures about his books.He read "Mad Grandad's Flying Saucer" to us, and afterwards he showed us how he draws the pictures.
First he made very light pencil drawings, then he went over it all with marker.He made a picture specially for our class.
