We talked about space travel and walking on the moon this week.
We heard about the "dark side of the moon" as well.

a fact about the moon
Its rocky mantle is about 825 miles (1,330km)thick and made up of dense rocks rich in iron and magnesium. Magmas in the mantle made their way to the surface in the past and erupted volcanically for more then a billion years- from at least four billion years ago to fewer then three billion years past.
i have a facts app on my ipod and i found out all these facts about the universe: -venis is the ony planet that rotates clockwise -in 1958, the us sent 3 mice into space!! -in the 1960s the us spent millions devoloping a zero gravity pen to use in space -the earths rotation is slowing down at a rate of 1 second per century - feb 1865 and feb 1999 are the only months on record not to have a full moon - if the sun ever stopped shineing suddenly, it would take people on earth 8 minuates to be aware of the fact
