 Your basket with workbooks, copies and Irish reader are to be collected from school on Monday.

Monday 11th Jan – Friday 15th Jan

Spellings: I have set several spelling activities on Studyladder do at least 1each day

Tables: x 2, x 5, x 10, (count up and down in 5s, time yourself at the end of the week (use the clock, an online timer or phone) Use your pack of cards

Reading: 20 mins daily of your book take a quiz on a book that you have finished since Christmas. Write it in your log.   Starlight: p.24-26 Look up all words in bold in your dictionary Questions: A & B p.27, you can record your answers on Seesaw (tell me the answers, you don’t have to write them) C & D, p.27 & 28: write out the full sentences in your copy   Reading Lab card: (these are on Seesaw) read the story, write your answers in your copy (Rose 12, 13, 14 & 15)   non-fiction article: (on Accelerated Reader) keep a record in your Reading Log of the name, level and your score.

Handwriting: do 1 page of your workbook over the week. Take great care, hold your pen properly and go slowly!

Busy at Maths: I will be setting some work on Wednesday Mental Maths: 1 test daily

English in Practice: 1 test per day Use your dictionary for any words you do not know

Irish: Scéal 1:  Mo Bhreithlá p.4   practice reading out loud daily and upload a recording on Seesaw of the story at the end of the week. (There are videos for the story and help with the written work all on Seesaw)   p.5 B            write these out in your home copy p.6 E p.7 F
